Funny enough…I’ve thought out the next weeks, months and years but not the day after—I mean I knew I would be ecstatic and probably tired but hadn’t thought about anything pass that.
So what is today like? Well, right now my thoughts are all over the place and I’m hoping writing this blog post will help me get focused and organized. The feedback is slowly flowing in and I need to appropriately address it, filter it and add what we hadn’t yet considered to the todo list. Immediate problems have been resolved. (I might have a few more emails I need to send out).
The development todo list definitely needs a scrub down and the team needs to know their next set of priorities. We also need to look into who is going to be working on the current todo list and fixes and who will be engaging in the new feature development.
It’s pretty much all work. Half of my brain is telling me to take it easy and let things settle while the other half is saying—get re-organized ASAP...
My life changed yesterday. My dream came online. It’s not just a start-up, it’s not just another community…not to me, it’s the start to opening up my world to all the things I’m passionate about. All the things that are my reasons for being. I know that’s pretty dramatic but bringing people together, helping people lead better lives and serving people is what my life is all about. Everything I hold dear is now in one place.
I’m in the game. It’s put up or shut up time. Time to make the big things happen. You gotta love all that pressure I like to pack on and apply to myself. Probably another reason my brain is going a mile a minute right now.
So…so far that’s what the day after has been like for me. A detached reality with immediate needs and a pressure full future with a currently lack of focus on the clear small steps to take to get there.
At least I have a new moto to get me on the right track: Get, Keep and Grow. Get new members, Keep happy the ones we now have and Grow everything to the highest level.
I’m going to go meditate for about 30 minutes to regroup and then get cranking on the todo list. If I owe you an email I will get it out to you…keep the feedback coming and please come back and be sure to fill out your profiles.
